Who are we? What is a scone?
I've had a love for scones for about 30 years. My basic recipe is one I developed many years ago after I fell in love with this delicious treat.
Scones are traditionally a cross between a biscuit and a cookie, so they are slightly sweet with a buttery, delicious taste.

The great thing about scones is they can be enjoyed at any time of day. Enjoy a vanilla scone with your favorite jam and a warm cup of coffee or tea. A late morning snack would be a perfect time to enjoy an orange cranberry scone. After dinner dessert can be a great time to indulge with a triple chocolate scone, warmed in the microwave for 10 seconds and this becomes simply amazing!
